An Elven Princess escapes the golden cage of her castle at night. She meets the spirit of the Enchanted Forest who takes horse shape and takes her on a magical journey to get to know herself.

Once, in a foreign land most humans have forgotten, there lived a princess in a beautiful castle.
The castle was surrounded by an Enchanted Forest, and though the princess had everything her heart desired at her disposal, she felt sad. For her father, the King, was in fear he could lose his daughter after the early passing of his beloved wife, and so he locked the young maiden up in his castle.
One of the King´s cupbearer, a humble young man, witnessed the sadness of his future Queen, and showed her how she could escape the castle through the servants´ entries.
From that day on, the young princess strolled through the Enchanted Forest almost every night, sometimes together with the cupbearer, whom she befriended rather quickly. They came back to the castle in the early morning hours and slept until noon.

But this was not enough for the Elven princess – she wanted to see the world behind the Enchanted Forest. So in a particularly bright full moon night, she escaped the castle without her cupbearer. He stood on the balcony and saw her leave, his heart filled with sadness, but he knew it was for her best to let her go.

She wandered for a while, when suddenly she felt a strange presence. She turned around, and out of the moonlit mists came a fair haired horse, the most magical ornaments covering its body.

“Fear me not”, the horse spoke, “for I am the Spirit of this Forest. I hear the desires of your heart, and I will guide you on your journey. Follow me.”

And so the princess and the Spirit went on a magical journey together.
