So, here is the walkthrough I've made for my work Drizzt Do'Urden for Chaosvin .
I've actually never made a walkthrough, but I thought it would be fun.
1. First sketch. Thanks to my amazing art teacher Mr. Abbadi who showed me how this works! Funnily, I sketch out my horses in almost the same way...).
2. Made the first rough outlines. I had to restart it all a few times over again, because the arms were too thick or the legs too thin...and please, let's NOT talk about the hands!
3. The lineart. I'm happy that I'm pretty used to make linearts...
4. The base colour. Nothing special.
5. The first shadings, marking the darkest places on the body. I use the burn & dodge tools and the airbrush brush to do shadings and lightings. I've orientated myself on the reference 3D-model I've found (see credits).
6. Finished shading and lighting. I needed 5 hours alone for this...I remember I've started after lunch and was finished before dinner. I've tried to be as accurate as possible. Also, I've added the eyes.
7. The clothes. I forgot to save some WIP-pics here, but it was rather tiring doing them. I've used a leather texture and painted on it.
8. Metal details & weapons added. I definetely fail at drawing swords and such stuff...
9. Added the cloak and the hair. This was the fun part! I like how the hair came out here.
10. Added the background and some light effects.
Hope you like it!

Without the clothes he looks like Gollum from LOTR!
