Eternal Beauty

"The voices in the wind had guided her out of the castle. She wandered through the forest, and even though it was the first time she was visiting that place, she seemed to know each branch, each leaf on the trees, as if she had been here a thousand times before. And indeed she had been, she remembered. Everytime she had gone to sleep, she had seen those amethyst eyes calling her, and she had followed them to this gorgeous but frightening castle. She was still exhausted from this marvellous kiss he had given her, but she went on, as she came to a lake. In the middle of it was a monument which reminded her of a grave or a tombstone. Through the rose bushes she could see that someone had lit some candles on that stone. She stepped onto the water - literally, because her feet remained on the surface. She did not notice that the rose he had given her had turned black in her hand. she went on to that monument and lay down on it. She did not know why, but all the fear was suddenly gone - it felt like coming home. She closed her eyes, without knowing if she was ever going to open them again."
