How Wonderful Life Is While You Are In The World by SweetLittleVampire How Wonderful Life Is While You Are In The World by SweetLittleVampire
:rose: Happy Grelliam Day! :rose:

Fitting Song: [link]

I may add a song chosen by the happy couple if they pick one. :meow:

Yesterday was a very special day for my friend :iconlumbabsfan:~LumBabsFan .
As you may know, she has a Grell RP blog on tumblr, sutcliff1799 , and yesterday her Grell muse got married to her personal William, enduringreaper / :iconxoravenoxeap:~xoravenoxeap! :icongrelllaplz:

Sadly I was unable to join the festivities due to lack of a tumblr (I don´t have an account...yet) and timezone issues, and so I decided to draw them a little wedding picture as special wedding gift. :aww:

Sooo, my dearest couple, I wish you all the best one could wish you. May you live together happily ever after.

Oh so lovely!  I can just picture them like this if William wasn't such a tight ass about his job.  Of course, unlike with the SherWatson (b)romance, I think that Will will remain married to his work and a stickler for duty.  :X *is starting to have second thoughts about only watching the anime, but thinks the manga is too violent to continue*

Why thank you. :3

Where are you at the moment in the manga? There are also a few more light-hearted chapters.

I only got through the first volume before I stopped.  Sebastian unnerved me way too much; it seemed to be ripping off of a similar manga that unnerved me when I was in my younger teens, Godchild.  The only difference was that Cain's half-siblings are also a focus of the manga, and his butler wasn't a demon, but rather the legacy of the charge he cared for.

I LOVE Godchild! It´s the reason why I got into Black Butler in the first place. XD

Godchild had enough legitimate story, and occult influences, to keep my interest, but if I hate the protagonist, what's the point of reading it?  I know I'll have to put up with them more often than I can tolerate.  I watch Black Butler for the side characters; I could care less what happened to Ciel and Sebastian, especially since they treat others so badly.

Well, Sebastian´s still a demon, and since he solely formed the contract because he was bored and hungry and sees himself above mere humans anyways, I don´t see a reason why he should treat Ciel in any other way than he does.
Besides Ciel can be real bratty now and then (I blame it on his teenager years), so I can understand where that behaviour comes from.
Sometimes I think it´s "their" way of showing affection...you know, like with those people who insult you only if they like you. You´ll need to be able to read them.

I liked Cain though. He has his flaws, but nobody is flawless. He grows up alone and he´s the master (besides being bored to death) and he´s seventeen - of course he´s going to party hard, fool around amd do a lot of nonsense. Of course he´s going to be rude because there´s no one in the area to show him his limits, uncle Neal not being permanently with him and Riff, as his butler, not being in the position to teach him a lesson. But I think he also behaves like that to hide how vulnerable and lonely he is. He has become the head of his house at a very young age and, unlike Ciel, he´s revolting more against it because he never really had the time to digest what he went through. He has no demon to lend him his power, he has to do it all by himself. I think you see his kindness when you look at how he treats Merryweather.

Though my favourite will always be Jizabel.

(Sorry for the novel; I get carried away whenever I talk about Godchild... ^^; )

No, it's fine.  I feel like I understand Cain a little more because of his asshole of a father not being there for him (He beat him for crying out loud!  Ciel is such a crybaby after only one brand on his back and his parents being killed before his eyes.), and I've always liked Byronic heroes (19th century men who follow the statement "Live fast, die young." while being knowledgable on a variety of subjects and pursuits) better that Victorian era brats, even before I knew the term Byronic hero.  Naturally, Cain will learn someday what his limits are, but for now, the dark gentleman is going to live it up in the darkest and seediest corners of London as much as he is in high society.

Well technically it was Augusta, but yes.

I find it on one hand interesting, on the other hand very difficult to compare Ciel and Cain.
I think if they´d met they would have been slightly interested but still neutral business partners, Cain investing his money into Funtom at all.
