Silence, whoever said it was golden was either lying or quite misinformed. For Gregory Edgeworth, it was a reminder that he was alone from now on. The widower sighed, taking a heavy gulp of tea before trying to focus on his work again. There was so much piling up between the office, the baby arriving, and the funeral. He would've loved to stop, put everything on hold and just walk away…but she wouldn't have wanted that. A small wistful smile crossed his lips as he heard his late wife's voice in his mind, as though she was still there with him…
"Don't you dare stay home!" she would say, her tone a mix between scolding and amusement. "He's kicking, that's all. You're needed in court, saving the innocent victims of wrongful arrest!" She laughed
It´s truly lovely, and the audio - for the love of God, if you can give it a listen, DO IT. It had me in tears. What they do with their voices is just magic. Even if you´re not a fan of the series or unfamiliar with it - I´m sure you´ll enjoy it.
But yeah. The whole thing gave me a bit of a sad (in a positive way), so to get rid of the sad I drew the sad.

Poor Miles, having to lose his father at such a young age, it must have been awful to experience something like that. And not only that but when he found out that Von Karma shot him, I'm sure Miles just wanted to beat the living hell out of him, but if he did that he knew that wouldn't have been enough for what he had done and he would have been lesser of a person as Von Karma. So that's why he waited until that trial where Edgeworth was accused of killing Hammond to give Von Karma the punishment he so rightfully deserved.
