I thought it was time to update the ref sheets of my stable crew! And since I´m not using my old sheet anymore, I thought I´d just redo them completely and add all the info I need as I go. ^^

Job at the stable: She owns it! Besides that, she´s also a competing dressage rider. She also gives jumping an dressage lessons and helps in the shop. She used to be the one responsible for the paperwork as well, but by now she has two accountants and one secretary helping out whenever she´s not there, though she likes to handle important decisions by herself.

Personality: Becky seems like a really cheerful girl. She's always in a good mood, but she can get very angry if something isn't working the way it's supposed to be. She likes to entertain other people and gets on very well with children. She seems to know when to shut up and when to leave people alone when they need to. Once all year in the beginning of December she gets a little breakdown because of her brother's death date. Besides that, Becky is also a bit of a trickster and sometimes likes to prank people, but always in a very gentle and loving way. She loves her husband dearly; she can sense that he is hiding something from her, but knows he would tell her if he was able to, and thus doesn´t pressure him. Her son Abel is the sunshine of her life.

Backstory: Rebecca is a Cornwall-native, and spent all her life there up to her graduation year. She was a pretty wild girl, known for being quite the party girl, and even sported a blue dip-dyed undercut and a nose piercing in her late teens. Nevertheless she wasn´t bad at school, and she excelled in the subjects she liked most, especially in those linked to English and literature. She has always been fond of horses, and had been allowed to take riding lessons since she was a child. She eventually decided to study English Literature and holds a Bachelor of Arts in the subject. The year she graduated was the year that changed her life completely: first, her brother Jason died in a car crash. They had attended a party together, and last minute Rebecca had decided to stay the night with a friend instead of driving home. Jason never made it to his parent´s house; he was in the passenger seat when the car crashed, and died almost instantly. Rebecca´s mother blames her daughter for her son´s death, believing it could have been prevented if she had been in the car instead of him. Only two months later she found out that her boyfriend at the ime had another girlfriend, and that Becky technically had only been an affair for him. Heartbroken, she decided to leave England behind and start all over again. With the help of an acquaintance she made at uni, she was able to purchase an old stud near Valensole, her father helping her out financially. The first time was rough, but she managed to hire a few people, to get a few nice horses, and opened a Bed & Breakfast once she had noticed how many tourists were in the area, as well as a shop selling products of the region. The first three years she kept on teaching English at a local school three times a week to help the money come in, and she let the farmers borrow some of her horses for a small fee if they need them, which she still does. She and Floréan - one of her grooms and riding instructors at the time - fell in love during her first winter at the stud, and became a couple while being invited to an event in Finland. They got married a year later. She discovered she was pregnant the following summer, but a fire erupted at the barn and destroyed most of it, and during it all one of the panicking horses kicked her, leading her to miscarry the child. With insurances giving them trouble to boot, they decided it was better to re-open the stud at a new location; partly also because Becky couldn´t stand the idea of going back to the place where she lost the baby. It was mere chance that she found a sales ad in the newspaper of an old farm ground with several buildings being sold. They fell for the property as soon as they saw it and purchased it, and with the money from the insurance finally coming in, they were able to pay almost all of the necessary renovations. Rebecca found out she was pregnant again in February the following year, and gave birth to a healthy boy nine months later. After her maternity leave is over, she likes to bring him along to competitions, and the little one seems to enjoy it. She would like to possibly have another child in a few years.
