Walkthrough:
A little fan art I did for the SnK- True Detective - AU fic Irascible, written by rivai-lution on tumblr.
This fan fic will be the end of me. Seriously. The plot is absolutely stunning. Even if you´re not into Eruri - or even not into SnK at all - I´m pretty sure you´ll be able to enjoy this story. The crime story is fabulous, very dark, sometimes gruesome, but never tiring. The relationships are not over-romanticised, very believable - and it´s sooo sad!
I´m sure there´s no way there can be a happy ending; there will be heartbreak for each party included.
The overall language of it is stunningly beautiful. Very powerful. Though there´s quite a bit of swearing, and you might need to get used to the Southern accent, but once you do there shouldn´t be any problems (I haven´t got any, and I´m not a native English speaker). There´s smut, but very little until now, and it´s written in a very respect- and tasteful manner.
This up there is part of the ending scene of chapter 15, which is called "Sinnerman". There was one little sentence which, for some reason, had me sobbing, because it was so simple, yet so beautiful and said so much.
So what does Sweet do when she fangirls over something? She sits down and draws it. Them feeeeeeels!
...and uses the opportunity to try out a slightly different lineart and colouring technique. Not sure I´ll keep it though.
